Queens Museum Wedding by Josh Wong Wedding Photography
A Stunning Queens Museum Wedding with Unisphere Bridal Portraits
The Queens Museum is a breathtaking setting for a wedding, and recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful celebration there that truly showcased the venue’s unique character and the couple’s radiant love. The day was a perfect blend of art, architecture, and love, making for a one-of-a-kind experience that I’m thrilled to share.
The First Look on the Main Glass Staircase
Our day began with the couple’s highly anticipated first look on the museum’s iconic main glass staircase. This modern architectural feature, with its clean lines and sleek, open design, created an unforgettable atmosphere for the moment they first saw each other. As the groom waited at the top, the bride made her way up the staircase, each step building anticipation. The natural light streaming in through the expansive windows highlighted the emotional exchange, capturing their joy and excitement in a timeless way. The setting felt both intimate and grand, a reflection of the couple’s deep connection and the beauty of the museum itself.
The Ceremony: A Union in Art and History
Following the first look, we moved into the wedding ceremony. The Queens Museum, known for its rich history and connection to New York City, provided a memorable backdrop as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones. The ambiance was filled with warmth and elegance, with the museum’s architecture adding to the sense of occasion. It was clear that every detail of the ceremony had been thoughtfully planned, creating an experience that felt personal and meaningful.
Bridal Portraits at the Unisphere
After the ceremony, we headed outside for bridal portraits at the Unisphere, one of New York’s most iconic landmarks. Set in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, this massive steel globe stands as a symbol of global unity and was the perfect complement to the day’s celebrations. The couple’s energy and love shone against the dramatic backdrop, with the Unisphere adding a sense of grandeur and history to each frame. The open space allowed for a variety of stunning compositions, from wide shots capturing the globe’s full scale to intimate close-ups highlighting the couple amidst this renowned landmark.

Queens Museum Wedding and Capturing Lasting Memories
This Queens Museum wedding was a true testament to the couple’s style, love, and connection to New York City. Photographing their special day allowed me to blend art and storytelling, capturing moments that will forever remind them of the love they celebrated. The combination of the museum’s iconic features and the Unisphere’s historical presence made for an unforgettable experience, and I am honored to have been a part of it.
If you’re planning a wedding at the Queens Museum or simply looking for a unique New York City venue that combines history, art, and timeless beauty, this location has it all. And as a photographer, capturing moments in a space with such rich character was an absolute privilege.
