Pennsylvania State Capitol Building Engagement Pictures
I recently had the opportunity to photograph Jackie and Justing’s engagement session at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building. It was an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. The building is architecturally stunning with a rich history. Its symbolism, and grandeur—making it an unforgettable backdrop for a love story.

The Pennsylvania State Capitol is a masterpiece of American Renaissance architecture. Completed in 1906, it’s renowned for its stunning dome, grand staircases, intricate murals, and beautiful artwork. Every corner of the building tells a story, and the sheer scale and detail are breathtaking.
Because the Pennsylvania State Capitol is an active government building, special permission was required in order to photograph there. Jackie and Justing went through the official approval process ahead of time, which made this session feel even more intentional and unique. Not many couples can say their engagement photos were taken inside one of the most beautiful state capitols in the country.
