Photography Internship for the Summer 2019 Season
Location: New York City
Commitment Type: Summer months, 2-3 days/week (+other projects and assignments) with an option to continue further.
Compensation: Unpaid Internship + There will be paid assignment on a Per Shoot Basis on certain assignments
We are looking for an Photography intern for our New York City location to help assist our photographers with photo shoots and editing. This person should be eager to learn, excited about the prospects of starting a career in photography in the online media arena and most importantly have a strong desire to succeed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting in photo shoots in anyway. Developing and writing unique content for our blog, and social media sites.
The ideal candidate should have (be):
Currently in college with an emphasis on the Arts. (Advisor approval for college credit)
Competent and proficient with editing software (ie. Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Capture One)
Love to write and generate unique content
Detail-oriented
Quick Study
A positive brand ambassador
Comfortable in social situations
People skills (upbeat, polite)
What you’ll learn: You’ll learn the Josh Wong Photography shooting methods. Become adept in the Adobe Creative Suite Tools.
