Michelle and Matt’s Engagement Pictures in DUMBO, Brooklyn, New York
With their wedding only a week out, Michelle and Matt were finally able to take their engagement pictures with me. Scheduling was a bit of a challenge but we got it done and had a great time doing it. Originally, we were going to take the engagement pictures at the Metropolitan Building, their wedding venue, but alas it will have to be saved for the Big Day. After a little bit of brainstorming, we decided on DUMBO Brooklyn, with the paved cobble stone streets. DUMBO has always been one of my top 5 places to take my bridal parties or my engaged couples for great outdoor shots. This place is similar to the Meat Packing District in that the “outdoor art” changes very frequently. I’m a big proponent of graffiti art and always love to incorporate an edgier feel to my images. Plus, you have the some of the best backdrops one can image, The Brooklyn Bridge. Below are a few of my favorite shots.
