Today, before the holiday weekend celebrating July 4th, we are celebrating the engagement of Kaity and Evan who will be getting married later this year. This couple provided plenty of fireworks for me to photograph as it was such pleasure watching these two interact with each other. Our engagement session in New York City was not without incident though. It was actually quite adventurous. With Evan leaving his phone in the cab and trying then to chase the cab down using the “Find My iPhone” app, to trying to get to Rockefeller Center so we could take a photograph of where Evan proposed to Kaity, only to be thwarted by some construction crane blocking the proposal spot. Then we tried to reach the South Street Seaport only to find that it is completely closed down and under construction. YES. All of this happened, but hey…. we all had such a blast, and in the end… These pictures are fantastic and Evan got his phone back. Congrats to you both and I’ll see you on the wedding day!

Serena & Erik – South Street Seaport and DUMBO Engagement Pictures – New York City Engagement Pictures

Today I had the great pleasure of meeting up with Serena and Erik for their engagement session at the South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan. When I arrived, I was greeted by a pair of adorable snow-white Maltese puppies, called Sora and Toshi. The Seaport was bustling with activity as many families and couples were out enjoying the gorgeous spring weather. The five of us made our way around to the many notable highlights of this historic maritime area. Some of our stops included the Yankees’ Clubhouse (Serena and Erik are huge fans), Pier 16, and Fulton Street Market.
