I’ve waited a year and a half to photograph this amazing couple. Alina & Jared found me though several of my previous wedding couples that I had the privilege to photograph. We instantly hit it off during our initial meeting. Alina and Jared are such a fun and energetic couple that we had to have two engagement photo sessions. One in New York City, when they came to visit and another one back in Santa Cruz, California. Instead of engagement sessions, it actually felt more like just hanging out with great friends. Their wedding was held at Casa Real at the Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, California. The wedding was full of fun and amazing details. From the 1,000 blue origami cranes that Alina folded herself, to the unique RX prescription pads at the guest sign-in table. I even had many of my past, present, and several future brides at the wedding so it was absolutely amazing to see them all. It was definitely a night to remember. I jet-setted back to San Francisco this week to photograph the wedding of Krista and Alec. I met them through another wedding that I photographed last year back east. When they found out that I was a native San Franciscan, they called me to see if I would come back to my home town to photograph their wedding. Naturally I said yes because I will always love shooting in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Krista and Alec are two amazing people. Even their friends in the bridal party were absolutely fun to be with. They were so photogenic that we even did a mock June 2012 Vanity Fair cover shoot with the girls. I’d say they pulled it off quite well. The guys were just as cool. They got ready at Alec’s apartment by playing some Halo…Well… not really. They never made it past the initial disc loading. After they finished getting ready, they headed to the Four Seasons Hotel, where the first look took place and where the girls got ready. After the first look, we all headed to the very picturesque San Francisco coastline Cliff House where Krista and Alec were to be wed and party the night away. So many great images from this wedding so I’ve posted a wee bit more than I normally would. Enjoy! and Congratulations to Krista & Alec.

My streak of no rain weddings is still alive (knock on wood). It was raining for 3 straight days before Saturday rolled around. On the day of, it was gorgeous! So we took a little trip to the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, home of Rodin’s Thinker to take some photos. Afterwards, we went back to the brides house to relax before the main event. Below are some of the images from this gorgeous day.

This was an exciting weekend for me. Not only did I shoot a wedding yesterday, but today was Tammy and Frank’s engagement photo session. They decided to shoot their engagement photos at the Ferry Building and Pier 7 in San Francisco. The two of them have lived in San Francisco their whole life and what better place to commemorate their engagement but the Embarcadero area and the Ferry Building in San Francisco.

Katina & Simon’s Wedding – Hope Evangelical Free Church

Back in San Francisco!

I was truly honored to be able to photograph Simon and Katina’s wedding. Simon is an old middle school and high school buddy of mine and I have been awaiting his wedding day for a long time! Simon and Katina are such a fun and easygoing couple. Taking pictures of them and their bridal party was something I will never forget. The day began as a perfect San Francisco day, it started a bit chilly but blossomed into a sunny, azure skyed afternoon. Their wedding ceremony took place at Hope Evangelical Free Church in San Francisco and the wedding celebration was at the Canton Seafood Restaurant, a popular seafood and dim sum restaurant in the Financial District of San Francisco. We also had the pleasure of visiting the Palace of Fine Arts following the wedding to shoot some pictures!
