The American Heart Association, in its 97th year, held their annual Heart Ball at the Grand Hyatt in New York City last night. My team and I had the privilege and the honor of being their only event photographers so all the images you see are exclusive. The event was huge. With over 800 in attendance, they were able to raise over 1.7 million dollars. Larry King hosted the event so it was fun taking pictures of him as he is very photogenic and charismatic. Also in attendance was Alec Baldwin. I didn’t really get a chance for a portrait shot of Alec but he still delivered a very entertaining and heartfelt speech. After the event, everyone had dinner and there’s no better way to get in shape than to bring up your heart rate by dancing the night away.
