There’s always something special about New York City Weddings. And there’s something even more timeless and classic about having a wedding at the famous Loeb Central Park Boathouse. As the backdrop to hundreds of movies, Jenny and Ken tied the knot at this gorgeous venue complete with a nautical themed wedding.
The groom wore a navy blue sport coat with khaki slacks and Ralph Lauren white and navy deck shoes. His groomsmen wore navy and yellow Ralph Lauren polos with matching Ralph Lauren deck shoes. Even the bridesmaids wore Milly for Sperry platformed deck heels which complemented their buttercup yellow dresses beautifully. The day included the “first look” on Bow Bridge, a Venetian Gondola tour around the lake, and even a caricaturist during the cocktail reception. This was definitely a wedding to remember! Congratulations to Jenny and Ken, thanks for sharing your special day with us!

Central Park Weddings Pictures

While most family and friends gather together for the first BBQ cookout of the summer, Erica and Todd had a small, intimate wedding at Central Park’s Sheep Meadow. The wedding took place on the southeast corner of Sheep Meadow, a 15-acre, lush, green meadow for relaxing and admiring one of New York City’s greatest skyline views. It is also where famous scenes from It Could Happen To You, Fisher King, Wall Street, and Manchurian Candidate were shot. The bride, Erica, a fresh faced beauty and the groom, Todd, the adventure kite boarder were joined by their immediate families at the ceremony.

Jennifer + Mark

Jen and Mark’s wedding took place at the beautiful Conservatory Garden in Central Park, New York City. They had a intimate wedding of about 35 people, only their closest friends and family. It was one of those gorgeous New York spring days that gets you through those bittingly cold winter days. Jen and Mark had their ceremony in the South Garden of the Conservatory Garden and by far the most popular for weddings. They chose this garden because of their fondness for this wonderful fountain sculpted by the artist Bessie Potter Vonnoh to commemorate Frances Hodgson Burnett, the writer of the classic children’s book, The Secret Garden.
