Today, I was honored to photograph baby Hazel who just recently turned 1 year old. I photographed baby Hazel back when she was 2 weeks old. Those photos can be found here. All I can say is… “What a bundle of joy!” She lasted over an hour with me before she conked out. Enjoy!

Family Portraits at Fort Tryon Park, New York City

Cold weather is upon us in New York City. While I could move my photo shoots indoors, I still prefer the outdoor setting which allows me to make use of the natural light and amazing New York City skyline. Today I had a small family portrait session at Fort Tryon Park in New York City. Brooke, Nichole, Anthony and Jenna were my subjects today. These four siblings braved an hour of 36 degree weather so my hats go off to them. Fort Tryon Park is also the home of The Cloisters which is a branch of the Metropolitan Museum. We started at the southern most entrance of the park and worked our way around park. Due to the cold weather, we had much of the park to ourselves. Here are a couple of my favorite images of the day! Baby Isabella’s Photos in Laurel Heights, San Francisco

A few weeks ago, I had the great pleasure of shooting newborn photos of Baby Isabella in the Laurel Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Today, I was introduced to baby Cather and she was an absolute sleeping beauty. A little more than 2 weeks old, Cather was already getting pretty getting big so Cather’s parents called me in to capture the sleeping baby’s delicate moments before they pass away. Today, I got a chance to schedule in some newborn photography. Even though I’m smack in the middle of doing my engagement photo sessions for my New York City Brides of 2010, how could you resist newborn photos. Newborns only stay at that age for a very short period of time. Hazel might not remember this day, but when she grows up and looks looks back at these photos, she’ll truly appreciate them. Enjoy!

This morning I headed up to the Inwood Area of New York City to meet Merav and her toddler Liam and her 2.5 month old Danielle. I don’t go up there that often, but every time I do, the views just amaze me. It was a strong overcast but we still made it out to Ft. Tryon Park. I just love the natural light that the overcast made. Enjoy.

Whew! This day was definitely a scorcher but by the time our photo session rolled around, the weather was a comfortable 84 degrees with a slight breeze. The photo shoot took place in Isham Park, located in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. Little Atticus, who was only 19 months old, was as energetic as the trains he was holding. Here are some of my favorites of this photo shoot.

How adorable was he. I think he should be a Gap kid. I had a simple setup in my studio today. A simple chair and the hardwood floors. The photos turned out beautifully!
